Rock the Runway @ Glam-A-THON

WMODA is helping to “Rock the Runway” with Ardmore Design at the 13th Annual Glam-A-THON Lipstick Lounge in the W Hotel, Fort Lauderdale on September 15. Fashion, design, art, and beauty are celebrated at this hip and glamorous event which aims to Kiss Breast Cancer Goodbye! Expect a vast array of sensuous fashions, accessories, jewelry, and art at this boutique style event while enjoying cocktails and fab food from 8pm to 11pm.

A Safari for the Soul

WMODA will contribute to this extraordinary fundraising night with highlights of Ardmore Design from our Safari for the Soul exhibit. Look out for posh pillows, poufs, and tabletop designs from Ardmore in South Africa as we celebrate Jabula, the Joy of Living with Ardmore Ceramics & Design. Proceeds from sales at the Glam-A-THON event benefit the Memorial Foundation and are used to provide funding for women battling breast cancer.

Strut your Stuff

Strut into Glam-A-THON to see Stern’s Stilettos, a marvelous display of glass shoes to make Cinderella swoon by Miami artist, Rob Stern. The shoes were inspired by his wife’s obsession and collection of Manola Blahnik, Jimmy Choo and Alexander McQueen. Stilettos are the ultimate in glamour and Glam-A-THON has organized some fantastic fundraising walks in high heels. Hundreds of women have hit the pavements in Fort Lauderdale for The Strut and put their best foot forward to support the breast cancer charity.

Glamorous Glasskinis

Chelsea Rousso will be showing her fabulous wearable glass corsets and bikinis as well as glass bowties and “jewel boxes” for men! One of this year’s Glammy Honorees, Wendi Sugarman Bieber, has commissioned Chelsea to make her a wearable glass ensemble for the award ceremony on September 15. Wendi serves as an everyday source of support, advocacy, and mentorship for women as they face a breast cancer diagnosis and all that follows. She is ecstatic that she is able to advance her passion and charitable efforts for women and their families throughout the South Florida community.

Memorial Foundation

The Glammy Awards honor the philanthropic rock stars in the community who support this great cause with compassion, kindness, and generosity. Glam-A-THON proceeds from the Lipstick Lounge Rock the Runway event will be donated to the Memorial Foundation to help breast cancer patients.
