The Kiss

Art of the Heart

Local artist, Josh Fradis makes solid glass heart sculptures in many colors of the rainbow, and they come with their own little plexiglass stand for display. Josh first fell in love with glass at California State University, Chico and continues to delight in his daily experience of creating art from liquid glass, using processes that have not changed for thousands of years. Josh puts his heart and soul into every glass sculpture, and you’ll be blown away watching him create a heart in the hot shop.

Have a Heart

Heart-shaped pendants are a specialty of Matchless Glass, a local family-owned jewelry business inspired by LOVE and FAMILY. It is the brainchild of Luis Montanez, the Logistics Manager for WMODA, who was introduced to glass art through his work at the museum. He sources Murano glass for his pendants and earrings, which make affordable souvenirs in the museum’s gift shop.

Love Spell

Candle Nerds was ignited by the shared passion of Luis and Nini Montanez, who believe that working and playing together is the key to a fulfilling life. Their creative journey with wax and wick has resulted in beautifully crafted candles using the purest eco-friendly ingredients. Candle Nerds use 100% soy wax and natural dyes with essential oils and fragrances to allergen-free standards.
