WMODA has been helping the less fortunate in our community thanks to initiatives by Luis Montanez, our Maintenance & Logistics Manager. He spearheads food drives for Thanksgiving and toy drives for Christmas with the museum’s family and friends in conjunction with Work2Live and Steady Revival Ministries.

One of his latest challenges was filling backpacks with essential toiletries for the homeless and he also organizes warm winter clothes drives for when the temperatures drop in Florida.

Thank you to everyone who helped us make this Holiday season extra special by bringing donations to WMODA on Saturday, November 19. We welcomed canned and prepackaged food and new, unwrapped toys to bring some seasonal joy during the Holidays.
