Feeding South Florida recently hosted their annual Feed Your Creativity art competition which was open to students K through 12th grade in all four South Florida counties. The purpose of the initiative was to help raise awareness of summer hunger for kids in the region. WMODA Visitor Services Manager, Kimberly Sheridan, was excited to participate in the judging process for local students who submitted their creative masterpieces focusing on the subject.
Kimberly was very impressed with the imaginative artwork presented by 146 children of all ages. On May 16, 2024, she attended the Feed Your Creativity Gallery Night which was held at their warehouse in Pembroke Park. Winners were selected in 15+ categories and the overall winner, Tiffany C. will have her artwork featured on one of the Feeding South Florida trucks for one year.
