Wiener Museum of Decorative Arts Reopens
in The Heart of The South Florida Design &
Commerce Center

Hollywood, Florida – January 20 – Wiener Museum of Decorative Arts (WMODA), a haven for art lovers, is delighted to welcome visitors to its new home in Hollywood, Florida. After two years of relocating the museum’s vast collection of ceramics and glass art spanning centuries, continents and cultures, WMODA is now open.

Art on Fire

WMODA celebrates the Fired Arts of ceramics and glass. The new Hot Glass Gallery in Hollywood showcases Chihuly and other modern masters. The ceramic art galleries transport visitors back in time to a world of elegance and creativity with celebrated British potters such as Wedgwood and Royal Doulton. “We’re not your grandma’s china cabinet,” says the museum’s Executive Director and Curator Louise Irvine. “Ceramics are cool and glass is hot at WMODA!”

Hooray for Hollywood!

WMODA is excited to reopen in Hollywood in the heart of the South Florida Design & Commerce Center. The museum showcases innovative design movements of the 19th and 20th centuries, including Art Nouveau and Art Deco. Enjoy all the flappers, vamps and divas of the Roaring Twenties as we celebrate the Centennial of the Art Deco movement and the City of Hollywood in 2025.

Firing the Imagination

The enriching and immersive experience at WMODA is designed to engage visitors of all ages and provide valuable insights into the decorative arts. In its original location, WMODA received the Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Award for six consecutive years and won the 2023 Museum Excellence Award from the Florida Association of Museums.

Supporting Local & International Artists

The WMODA Museum Shop represents many talented ceramic, glass and jewelry designers working in our local community and abroad. Explore our new Ardmore Design Shop, where the exuberant spirit of Africa is captured in a stunning collection of home décor. Purchases support the artists and WMODA, which is a 501c3 not-for-profit museum.
