More kudos for WMODA! The Florida Association of Museums presented Louise Irvine, Executive Director and Curator, with the 2023 Museum Excellence Award for her role in the relocation of WMODA. At the annual FAM conference ceremony, which was held in the Henry B. Plant Museum at the University of Tampa, Louise accepted the award on behalf of the museum. Louise thanked Arthur Wiener and the WMODA team of staff and volunteers for their dedication to the monumental task of rebuilding the museum. It is so exciting for our team to be recognized by our peers in the museum world and we are all fired up for the future!
